The Trump administration is intensifying its crackdown on healthcare fraud after a federal task force identified an estimated $230 billion in fraudulent activity. Prosecutors say 19 people in Pennsylvania have been charged in an alleged scheme that stole more than $4 million from Medicaid through fraudulent home healthcare billing. Investigators allege some defendants billed for care while they were hospitalized, working other jobs, or even incarcerated. In one case, a worker is accused of claiming 126 hours of work in a single day. Vice President JD Vance said the administration has already blocked $56 billion in fraudulent payments and is pursuing tougher enforcement with Congress.
