A new Congressional Budget Office report estimates President Trump’s proposed 15-ship "Trump-class" fleet would cost $275 billion, up more than 50% from earlier projections. The first ship alone is expected to cost $23.4 billion, $8 billion above the Navy’s initial estimate, while each additional vessel could cost over $18 billion.
