❗️GCC slams Iran over alleged retaliatory Kuwait infrastructure attacks The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has strongly condemned Iran, accusing Tehran of orchestrating direct attacks on civilian infrastructure within Kuwait, without commenting on Kuwait hosting US assets used to launch attacks on Iran from its territory. GCC Secretary General Jasem Mohamed al-Budaiwi stated that the strikes targeted a key government facility alongside commercial vehicles belonging to a private enterprise. Characterizing the escalation as part of a "hostile approach to destabilizing security and stability in the region," Budaiwi denounced the action as a "blatant aggression and flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Kuwait," warning it poses a direct hazard to the safety of citizens and residents alike.
