Despite these efforts, no direct or indirect talks between Iran and the US are scheduled. This diplomatic push follows conflicting statements from leadership: US President Donald Trump claimed that talks were happening "right now," while Esmail Baghaei, Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson, stated that there were "no plans for any meetings between Tehran and Washington."
