Sen. Rand Paul is moving to hold Dr. Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress after Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment more than 100 times during last week’s Senate hearing.
The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee is set to vote Thursday on Paul’s resolution, which argues Fauci refused to answer questions despite being under subpoena and says his Fifth Amendment protections no longer applied because of his presidential pardon and opening testimony.
