Thousands of Palestinians in Gaza City held a mass funeral today for the recovered remains of 112 members of the extended Al-Hassayna and Abu Sharia families, buried together after nearly three years under rubble.
The deaths trace to Israeli airstrikes in November 2023 on residential buildings in Gaza City's Sabra neighbourhood, where the Bedouin clan had sheltered early in the war.
Palestinian authorities say around 308 clan members were killed.
Roughly 157 still missing at the site.
