❗️Turkiye urges Russia, Ukraine to protect Black Sea shipping after vessel attack Turkiye on Tuesday urged Russia and Ukraine to take steps to safeguard maritime navigation in the Black Sea after a drone strike targeted a Turkish-owned vessel near Russia’s Novorossiysk port, seriously injuring three crew members. The Turkish Foreign Ministry said Ankara was deeply concerned over attacks on civilian vessels in the Black Sea despite "all of our warnings", adding that it was closely monitoring the condition of the injured Turkish nationals.
