The Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom, Valerii Zaluzhnyi,stated that he sees no prospect of Ukraine joining NATO under the Alliance’s current model of development. At the same time, he emphasized that Ukraine needs NATO countries’ technologies and military capabilities, and that future security guarantees could be linked to new defense alliances. He further explained his position by noting that, in his view, NATO’s current structure fails to meet the challenges that have emerged following Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
